In our opinion these young artists showed extraordinary skills and are blessed with great artistic talent. Be sure to make a mental note of these names!

Malefa Mbeka Malefa Mbeka is a learner at Dalubuhle Primary School. She has attended the school since Grade 1 and she is currently in Grade 5. Malefa is a first born child in a family of two. She is staying in Langrug with her mother and step father. She is very clever more especially in Mathematics and she has a talent in Art.”

Jamie-Lee Bezuidenhout Jamie-Lee Bezuidenhout is a 12 years old Grade 7 student at Wemmershoek Primary School. She lives on Bellingham, the well known wine farm of the late Graham Beck. She is the eldest of two children and her hobbies include reading, drawing and dancing. Her dream is to become a doctor one day in spite of her underprivileged background.

Justin Wooding Justin Wooding of West End, I have attached his photo and art work too.Justin Wooding is a 12 year old learner in Grade 6 at Wes-Eind Primary school.
Justin is a hard working learner and is one of our top learners who achieved a very high level in all is learning areas. He is one of two children and lives with his parents at Klein La Dauphine farm in Franschhoek.

Isabella Swanepoel is a student at Groendal Primary School. She is 12 years old. She has attended the school since grade 2 and is currently in grade 6. She loves art. They are 7 children, 2 brothers and 5 sisters. Her mother’s name is Nicolette and her father’s name is Abraham.

Izak Goliath, is currently a Grade 6 learner and the eldest child of Michelle en William. He lives in Groendal, Franschhoek.

He is occasionally reserved, but communicates well with his peers. Izak likes to play and loves to swim and draw. His ambition is to be an Artist when he grows up. His birthday is on 18 June and he turn 13 years old.

January 2010 Winner

Adriaan Snyders is a pupil at Wes-Eind Primary. He has attended the school since grade 1 and is currently in grade 7. He is the second eldest son in a family of 5. They are 4 children, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Adriaan lives with his family in Mooiwater in Groendal. Adriaan has a lovely personality and mixes well with his fellow learners. His hobby is drawing and he is a keen sportsman. His extra-mural activities are athletics, rugby and cricket. He has also been a member of the school choir since grade 1.

Marchelle Jacobs is 12 years old and attends Wemmershoek Primary School. Marchelle is the youngest child of Leticia and Marchell Jacobs. He lives in Saffcol, La Motte, Saagmeule. He has attended Wemmershoek Primary school since 2008. He loves to draw and his other hobby is sport.
November 2009 Winner

Grant Adams is 12 years old and attends Wemmershoek Primary School . Grant was born on 20 Jully 1997 and is the oldest of 2 children. His Mother Zelda is a single parent and he lives in Saagmeule.

Grant has attended Wemmershoek Primary since grade 1 in 2004, he is currently in Grade 7 and is a strong and diligent student. He loves sport and telling jokes, he is also very talkative and loves to draw.
