Phthalocyanine Green, better known as Pigment Green 7, is a synthetic green pigment from the group of phthalocyanine dyes, a complex of copper(II) with chlorinated phthalocyanine. PG 7 has a bright, high intensity colour, transparent in application. Due to its stability, PG 7 is used in many inks, coatings, and plastics, as well as some cosmetics applications. Being insoluble, it also has no tendency to migrate in the material. PG 7 is the standard green colour for plastics, used in polyolefins, engineering plastic, PP, terylene, acrylic fibers and nylon.
Poly chlorinated copper phthalocyanine. Acts as an organic green pigment. It is odorless as well as possesses an excellent light fastness, chemical fastness, weather fastness and solvent fastness.
