Cadmium Pigments are pigments based on cadmium sulfide and zinc sulfo-selenide and cadmium, which offer a wide shade of colours ranging from greenish yellow through the oranges, reds and maroon. Although cadmium is classified as a heavy metal, these cadmium pigments are cadmium salts with soluble cadmium content extremely low and controlled, allowing use in several applications and complying with a number of global regulations.
Cadmium Pigments have the following main characteristics:
Clean and bright colours
Easy dispersion
High tinting strength
Excellent thermal resistance (600 ° C)
Excellent weather and light resistance
Insoluble in water and organic solvents
Does not bleed
Does not migrate
Excellent stability, non-warping
Good resistance to alkalis and detergents
Compatible with other pigments
Applications: Recommended for use in plastics, architectural & industrial coatings, road marking, powder coatings, and other specialty markets.
Plastics
Cadmium pigments have excellent resistance to high temperatures due to it their manufacturing process and can therefore be routinely used in polymers that are processed above 300°C, such as polycarbonate, polyamides and PTFE.
Road marking Paints
Cadmium pigments are used in thermoplastic paints production processes applied on urban roads, highways, bike paths, airports, parking lots, special signs. Great alternative to replace chromates and molybdates.
Product Range: Our differentiated quality control, allows us to monitor colour aspects and application, reproducing the system used by the customer. Our lots are tailor made per customer requirement, and produced following predefined pattern, giving batch to batch repeatability.

Calcium stearates, which are recognized as physiologically safe, have become increasingly important in the last few years. They are insoluble in most solvents. They dissolve only slightly when heated in aromatic compounds, chlorinated hydrocarbons or vegetable and mineral oils and waxes. Calcium stearates are mainly used as lubricants, mold release agents and acid scavengers by the plastics industry. The pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry uses calcium stearate as an anti-caking additive for powders and granules and as an excipient for pressing tablets. The building industry uses it as hydrophobic agent for inhibiting moisture absorption and preservation of building materials and construction.
Calcium Stearate is used by the rubber and plastic industries as an effective elastomer processing aid and release agent. The low chloride content of Calcium Stearate allows for complete product dispersion in elastomers. Calcium Stearate reduces extruder pressure build-up of rigid PVC compounds when used as a processing aid during the manufacture of pipe, siding and injection molded fittings. The low chloride content of Calcium Stearate meets the quality and processing demands of polyolefin, polystyrene and polyester manufacture.
Chrome Oxide Green is an inorganic pigment whose olive-green colour has been classified as Pigment Green 17/C.I. 77288 (Chrome Oxide Green) by the Colour Index System. Its basic chemical composition is Cr2O3.
Chrome Oxide Greens are used in a wide variety of applications because of its excellent opacity, outdoor durability and heat fastness. Its hardness is also highly valued for surface finishing, where Chrome Oxide Greens are used as abrasive components. They are also used as a base oxide to produce several other metal oxide based pigments.

HITOX (high grade titanium dioxide) is a high quality, cost-effective, beige and gray coloured rutile titanium dioxide pigments produced by TOR Minerals. Most titanium dioxide is pure white, but HITOX demonstrates that whiteness is not a pre-requisite for effectiveness in colour formulations.
In products which require opacity and colour i.e. non-white paints, Hitox pigments can reduce the amount of expensive organic & inorganic pigments as well as white TiO2. Depending on the finished colour desired, HITOX can replace from 15-100% of white TiO2, and may also allow the reduction of coloured organic and inorganic pigments, achieving considerable savings.
Applications: Hitox STD (Beige) – Can be used in a broad range of Paint and Coatings applications, including Architectural, Coil Backers, Powder, Container, Wood, Traffic, Primers, Adhesive & Sealants and Roof Coatings – basically all non-white applications where colour is required.
Hitox Gray (Grey) – Well suited for use in gray primers, powder coatings and other decorative and industrial paints. In addition to cost savings, HITOX gray can eliminate or reduce the use of black pigments which are typically difficult to incorporate due to floatation problems.
Product Range: Hitox® Buff – Beige
Hitox® Gray – Grey

Titanium dioxide, also known as titanium(IV) oxide or titania, is the naturally occurring oxide of titanium, chemical formula TiO2. Titanium dioxide is the most widely used white pigment because of its brightness and very high refractive index. TiO2 is also an effective opacifier in powder form, where it is employed as a pigment to provide whiteness and opacity to products such as paints, coatings, plastics and inks.
Description: Ultramarine Blue is an inorganic pigment whose colour has been classified as Pigment Blue 29/C.I. 77007 by the Colour Index System. Chemically it is a sodium aluminum sulphosilicate.
Ultramarine Blues are the most widely used blue pigments because of their unique colouristic and performance attributes. Ultramarine Blues provide a unique reddish undertone blue colour and are able to easily tint whites, greys and blacks with a bluish undertone, to enhance the best of such colours. Moreover, Ultramarine Blues lack metamerism; therefore, they do not change colour in function of the illuminate.
