Chrome Yellows are inorganic pigments which provide Primrose, Lemon and Middle Yellow shades.
The Primrose & Lemon colour have been classified as Pigment Yellow 34/C.I. 77603 (Chrome Yellow) by the Colour Index System. Their basic chemical composition is PbCrO4.PbSO4.
The Middle Chrome colour has been classified as Pigment Yellow 34/C.I. 77600 (Chrome Yellow) by the Colour Index System. Its basic chemical composition is PbCrO4. PbSO4.
Chrome Yellows have been widely used in the Plastics and Coatings industry because of their bright yellow colour and high hiding power.
