Recommended for use in plastics and niche coatings applications, e.g. powder coatings, coil coatings, stoving paints or any other coating requiring high heat fastness.
Description: Yellow Iron Oxides are not heat resistant and can only be used below 180ºC-190ºC. At such temperature, the goethite structure of the Yellow Iron Oxides turns into the hematite structure characteristic of the Red Iron Oxides. Therefore, a colour change from yellow to red is clearly observed.
The way to prevent such colour fading is to protect the yellow iron oxide structure with an encapsulation to withstand high temperatures (260ºC, 5min), allowing it to be used in niche markets requiring high temperatures. Moreover, Encapsulated Yellow Iron Oxide, shows all the excellent attributes which are characteristic of such range of pigments.
In addition, it can be used as a replacement for Pigment Brown 24 (PBr24) and red organic pigments both in Plastics and high temperature cured Coatings. This substitution allows formulating beige, green, red and brown colour shades at reduced cost keeping the same chemical and physical properties.
Black Iron Oxide is recommended for use in the coatings, ink and construction industry.
Description: Iron Oxides cover the colour space known as earthy colours (red, yellow, black and browns), similar to those colours found in nature. The use of these pigments in the construction and coatings market, makes the resulting construction fully integrated in the landscape.
Black Iron oxide provide the following advantages:
Excellent durability and stability
Easy incorporation
Colour consistency batch-batch
Good performance to cost ratio benefit
Competitive pricing
Brown Iron Oxide is recommended for use in the coatings and construction industry.

Iron Oxide Brown provide the following advantages:
Excellent durability and stability
Easy incorporation
Colour consistency batch-batch
Good performance to cost ratio benefit
Competitive pricing
Green Iron Oxide is recommended for use in the paints, coatings and construction industry.
Description: Compound pigment comprised of iron oxide yellow, organic pigment and additives. It has good opacity, high tinting strength with good light fastness. It is resistant to acid, lime and alkaline and is widely used as colorant for paints and coatings. It may be used for full shaded products, or reduced by tinting with titanium dioxide (TiO2).
Green Iron Oxide provide the following advantages:
Good durability and stability
Bright colour
High tinting strength
Easy incorporation
Colour consistency batch-batch
Good performance to cost ratio benefit
Competitive pricing
Recommended for use in the coatings, inks and plastics industry.
Description: Micronized Yellow Iron Oxide are manufactured with a special process that minimizes the presence of agglomerates, providing enhanced dispersibility, colour reproducibility and gloss. It provides higher performance vs conventional Iron Oxides mostly because of its higher dispersibility, narrower particle size distribution and lower sieve residue.
Red Iron oxide is recommended for use in the coatings and construction industry.
