Complex Inorganic Colour Pigments - Overview

Product Name: Complex Inorganic Colour Pigments - Overview
Description: Complex inorganic colour pigments (CICPs) provide enhanced performance in key areas such as heat and chemical stability, UV opacity, hiding power, and infrared (IR) reflectivity. CICPs are very stable pigments, and for all practical purposes are chemically inert. They can withstand the most chemically aggressive environments and still retain their colour. They are non-migratory, and will not dissolve or bleed in contact with solvents.
Applications: Due to the good light fastness characteristics they can be used in a wide range of cool pigments and colour applications including:
Plastics: polyolefins, PS, ABS, engineering polymers, PVC, silicones and rubber
Cool coatings: liquid architectural and industrial, powder, coil, stoving and high temperature resistant
Industrial: cement, concrete, glass and ceramics

PG 50 - Cobalt Titanate Green Spinel

Product Name: PG 50 - Cobalt Titanate Green Spinel
Description: PG50 cobalt titanate green spinel pigments offer a bright green shade. They are opaque to visible light with moderate NIR reflectance ("cool" pigment). Properties include ease of dispersion with excellent dimensional stability resulting in no warping or shrinkage. Ni-free grades are available.

IR Reflective

Product Name: IR Reflective
Description: The IR Reflective range decreases the undesirable absorption in the IR region. The pigments reflect the infrared light to a big extent, while still appearing as intensely coloured as comparable conventional pigments.
Features:
  • Coloured parts are less subject to thermal expansion and contraction
  • Increased service life
  • Less product degradation
  • Improved comfort levels for building occupants
  • Lower air conditioning costs
Products:
  • Ferro V-774 - 20% stronger with a TSR = 30
  • Ferro V-775 - more versatile with a TSR = 24
